This type of wrench is fantastic [open-end] to break loose/tighten fasteners. Once fastener is even just a tad 'loose', reverse the tool and it and complete your task. Ditto works for installing fasteners using the ratcheting end to get fastener snug - reverse the tool and finish the job. |

Note that this type of wrench was also available
in "line"
and/or "stubby" style, IIRC.
